Ratio FreeDiver White Dial Sapphire Stainless Steel Automatic RTB209 200M Men’s Watch

My buddies at my work place present me with the Ratio FreeDiver White Dial Sapphire Stainless Steel Automatic RTB209 200M Men’s Watch for my 50th birthday.

Frankly, when I saw the small square box, I thought it might be cufflinks. They insisted I open the box during the after-office birthday party. So, open it I did and oh boy, was I surprised? The invoice was included (probably so I could claim warranty). The invoice amount was for nearly Rs 18,000/- They would have had to each contribute at least Rs 700. Yes, I was their boss and all that, but I was genuinely surprised that I ranked high enough for them to contribute that much towards my birthday gift.

I removed the existing watch that I was wearing and wore the new one. It was a bit lose and I would have to get it adjusted – not a big deal. The watch itself was refreshingly beautiful. It had a brilliant pearl-white dial and with large luminescent dots that represented the hours of the day. These large markers accompanied with the extra fat, luminescent hour and minute ensured that reading the time even in the dark would be quite easy. The date window is extra large and is located at the traditional spot i.e., 3’Oclock position.

The Ratio FreeDiver White Dial Sapphire Stainless Steel Automatic RTB209 200M Men’s Watch has a unidirectional rotating bezel with 120 clicks which are nice and have a solid feel to it. The markers on the bezel are white ceramic inlays and have a nice feel to it. The crystal is a scratch-resistant Sapphire.

When I saw the Ratio FreeDiver White Dial Sapphire Stainless Steel Automatic RTB209 200M Men’s Watch, I thought it was a Seiko but the name said “Ratio”. The watch is powered by a Seiko NH35A movement inside. The movement is automatic and so is powered by the movement of my hand. No batteries required – a truly environmentally friendly watch.

The watch case is stainless steel and is attached with a stainless-steel bracelet with a deployment clasp. The case and the bracelet both have premium ultra-smooth finish. 200M water resistance, engraved back plate and a screw down crown completes the case. The watch is roughly 4.5cm across and about 1.3cm thick.

The one-year international warranty gave me peace of mind. Hopefully, I will not require to use the warranty. The Ratio FreeDiver White Dial Sapphire Stainless Steel Automatic RTB209 200M Men’s Watch looked nice on my wrist and seemed to go well with party wear as well as formal attire. It looks and feels expensive. Thanks guys, I love this watch.
